California School Garden Training Program

Creating and Sustaining Your School Garden

A one-day workshop for developing your own School Garden Program

Presented by:

Center for a Healthy Lifestyle @ Solana Beach Boys & Girls Club

This 6-hour hands-on training program will be held at the Sunny Yellow Cottage – surrounded by our beautiful and kid-friendly organic garden.

Date: Saturday November 10, 2012, 9 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: 533 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Solana Beach, CA 92075

Cost: $20 per person, includes lunch and workbook

The CSYSG Workshop is for teams working to create or enhance a school garden program. This workshop covers planning and designing a school garden, basic gardening skills, curricular connections, and outdoor classroom management.
